Keep your eyes and hearts open to the needs around you.

Last week I was parking the car to go into a large department store with groceries on one end and everything else needed on the other. As I gathered my keys, list, and phone, I see a woman slowly walking through the lot with a worried look on her face.

She must have been in her mid 70’s. I asked if I could help her and she explained that she could not find her car. I responded with a similar frustration when it had happened to me and proceeded to ask about the type and color.

We searched for about 10 minutes before we found it. She was so relieved and I was happy to have helped. It was not clear if she was forgetful but she was definitely upset by the situation. Let’s stay aware of the people around us that might need a few minutes of our time. You can do it!
