Hello, I’m

Teresa Youngstrom

Teresa is a Seasoned Registered Nurse with more than 38 years of clinical and leadership experience. She believed she understood Dementia well enough to care for her own mother. Unfortunately, this assumption resulted in Teresa being kicked out of her Mom’s @#$%! house! Teresa left in tears but was determined to learn why that happened and how to join her Mom on her journey with Dementia. Now she shares her wealth of knowledge and personal experience everywhere she goes with a kind and compassionate message that can help you too!

MEMORY CARE WITH TERESA - A PODCAST SERIES

Hi Teresa ~ I wanted to let you know that my Mom passed away peacefully last Tuesday. Sarah and I were at her side and I’m so grateful for that. I wanted to reach out to you one last time to thank you for the kindness and words of wisdom you shared with us over the last 2 1/2 years. I am so appreciative that you were always available when we had questions or hit a wall (especially during Covid). Thank you so much!
I realize Mom is at peace and now I have to get used to a new normal - not going to see her every day or think about what she might want or need. It will take time for sure and knowing Mom is no longer in pain makes it a little easier.
Thank you again for EVERYTHING! I will continue to pray that your amazing work helps a lot more people. I feel very strongly that every Memory Care Unit would benefit a great deal from your many words of wisdom!

Take care,
Molly
